Terms of use and license

License

Clipkeep Software AB grants you a free, non-exclusive right to install and use Clipkeep on your own computers, privately or at work.

In practice this means you may install it on several computers you own or use at work, copy the program for backup purposes, and use it for as long as you like. The license does not transfer any ownership – Clipkeep remains the property of its publisher.

Intellectual property

The program, its name and its logo are the property of Clipkeep Software AB. The license gives you the right to use the program – not to own it, rename it or present it as your own work.

Restrictions

You may not sell the program, or distribute modified versions of it.

You are welcome to share the download link freely – pointing people to this website is the safest way for them to get the real, unmodified program. Please do not re-upload the files themselves elsewhere.

Updates and new versions

The program does not update itself. When a new version is released it is published on the download page, and these terms apply to it unless it comes with its own terms. You are never required to update.

No warranty

The program is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost data or other damage from using it. Keep important information somewhere other than your clipboard history.

Support

Support is provided by email at support@tryclipkeep.com, with no guaranteed response time.

Payment

The program is free and no payments are charged.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version is published on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the program after a change means you accept the new terms.

Ending the license

You can stop using Clipkeep at any time: quit it from the tray or menu bar and delete the program. To also remove your clipboard history, delete the data folder – the Help page shows the exact location on your system. There is nothing to cancel, since there are no accounts or subscriptions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden.
